Here's some crap about me:
I grew up in a small town in western Massachusetts. When I was 24 I left my graphic job and everything I owned except my guitar, a notebook and my band to tour the United States. It changed my life. I fell in love with the San Francisco Bay Area and made it my new home.

I have always been infatuated with art and music. I couldn't get enough of Stanley Mouse, Rick Griffin and all the psychedelic artists from San Francisco. They combined music, drugs and dreams to create iconic wild pieces for the greatest bands of the time. That's what I wanted to do! That's what I am doing!

As a kid, the name "Eyeball" was a nickname given to me by friends, years later and many trips to Japan making art for a large counter culture fashion company, the name began to stick. They seemed to like the title so I just rolled with it!

Now, I realize that I make art based on my deep love for music and try to put as much passion into my work as the sounds and sights that inspire me. I have done countless pieces of artwork for countless bands and brands including The Fillmore, Another Planet Entertainment, Paul Kantner of Jefferson Airplane, Les Claypool of Primus, Two Gallants, Ozone Rocks, Kona Mountain Bikes, Hewlett Packard and many more of my brothers and sisters who make their passion their lives.

I hope that you see the passion in my work and can relate to what I am trying to portray because this is what we are all made of - art, music, love and life. If you would like to contact me please send me an email @ eyeballjames@gmail .com
